Supporting Quality Management Excellence for Medical Device Manufacturers in China

ELLECOM participated in the Hebei Wuqiang Pilot County of TÜV Rheinland Launching Ceremony in China, bringing together representatives from industry, local authorities and quality and regulatory experts.

At the event, Antje Tandetzky, from ELLECOM, addressed participants on the importance of robust Quality Management Systems and quality standards for medical device manufacturers.

Her contribution focused on how manufacturers can establish and strengthen quality management structures to support regulatory compliance, consistent product quality and sustainable access to international markets.

The event also provided an important opportunity for exchange with representatives and leaders from Hebei Province and the medical device manufacturing community.

Connecting Regulatory Requirements with Practical Implementation

For medical device manufacturers, implementing a Quality Management System is more than preparing for certification. Regulatory and quality requirements need to become part of the organisation's everyday processes from design and development and supplier management to manufacturing, documentation, risk management and post-market activities.

ELLECOM supports manufacturers in translating these requirements into practical and sustainable quality systems, including the implementation and development of ISO 13485-based Quality Management Systems and their integration with applicable medical device regulatory requirements.
