Lab Indonesia - Jakarta, Indonesia

Where Laboratory Innovation Meets Regulatory Expertise

ELLECOM participated in Lab Indonesia in Jakarta, connecting with professionals and organisations from Indonesia’s growing laboratory, diagnostics and scientific technology sectors.

The exhibition provided an opportunity to explore developments in laboratory technologies and to engage with manufacturers, suppliers and industry professionals working across diagnostics, laboratory equipment, analytical technologies and related healthcare applications.

For ELLECOM, Lab Indonesia offered a valuable perspective on how innovation developed within the laboratory environment progresses toward regulated healthcare markets. Particularly for manufacturers of in vitro diagnostic medical devices (IVDs), successful international market access requires regulatory considerations to be integrated with product development, performance evidence, quality management and lifecycle planning.

During the exhibition, we exchanged perspectives with companies interested in bringing their technologies to international markets and discussed the regulatory expectations associated with European and Swiss market access, including the EU IVDR, Technical Documentation, Performance Evaluation, Quality Management Systems and authorised representation.

Being present in Jakarta also enabled us to better understand the ambitions and challenges of manufacturers within Indonesia and the wider Southeast Asian region - an important part of building regulatory support that reflects both the product and the market from which it originates.

Through our participation in international industry events such as Lab Indonesia, ELLECOM continues to connect scientific and technological innovation with the regulatory pathways needed to reach global markets.

From Innovation to International Access.
