Connecting with the Global Regulatory Affairs Community

ELLECOM attended RAPS Convergence 2026 in Charlotte, represented by Rohit Zutshi and Antje Tandetzky, joining regulatory and quality professionals, health authority representatives and healthcare industry experts from around the world.

RAPS Convergence is a major international gathering for the regulatory affairs community, bringing together more than 2,000 professionals and offering over 100 educational sessions across medical devices, IVDs, pharmaceuticals, biologics and broader regulatory topics.

For ELLECOM, the conference provided an important opportunity to exchange perspectives on evolving regulatory requirements, international market access and the practical challenges manufacturers face when bringing and maintaining medical devices and IVDs on global markets.

The event also provided a valuable platform to meet manufacturers, regulatory professionals and industry stakeholders and to strengthen connections across the international regulatory community.

Following the Evolution of Global Medical Device Regulation

Medical device and IVD regulation continues to evolve across international markets. RAPS Convergence provides an opportunity to engage with current regulatory developments and perspectives across areas including medical devices and IVDs, regulatory strategy, inspections and audits, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and other emerging topics.

These exchanges contributed to ELLECOM's ongoing understanding of the international regulatory landscape and provided valuable perspectives on how evolving requirements can be translated into practical approaches for manufacturers operating across different markets.
