Engaging with Medical Technology Across Asia-Pacific

ELLECOM participated in Medical Fair Asia in Singapore, bringing us closer to one of the world’s most dynamic regions for medical technology, manufacturing and healthcare innovation.

Singapore provides an important meeting point between international markets and the rapidly developing medical device industry across Asia-Pacific. The exhibition offered ELLECOM the opportunity to engage with manufacturers and industry professionals from Singapore and across the wider region, gaining valuable perspectives on their products, regulatory strategies and ambitions for international expansion.

A central theme of our conversations was market access. Medical device and IVD manufacturers increasingly operate across multiple regulatory jurisdictions, making it essential to consider regulatory strategy, technical documentation, quality systems and post-market obligations as interconnected elements rather than isolated requirements.

For ELLECOM, Medical Fair Asia was therefore more than an opportunity to present our regulatory expertise. It was an opportunity to listen - to understand how manufacturers across Asia-Pacific approach international expansion, where regulatory challenges arise and how appropriate regulatory planning can support sustainable access to markets including Europe and Switzerland.
