ELLECOM participated in Bio Asia Pacific in Bangkok, Thailand, engaging with companies and professionals from across the biotechnology, life sciences, diagnostics and healthcare sectors.

The event brought together organisations developing technologies across a broad spectrum of life sciences, creating an environment for exchanging ideas, discovering emerging technologies and understanding how innovation is progressing throughout Thailand and the wider Asia-Pacific region.

For ELLECOM, attending Bio Asia Pacific provided an opportunity to look beyond individual products and engage with the organisations driving their development. Conversations with manufacturers, technology providers and industry professionals offered valuable insight into how companies are transforming scientific concepts into solutions intended for healthcare and international markets.

As innovative technologies move closer to commercialisation, understanding the applicable regulatory pathway becomes increasingly important. For medical devices and in vitro diagnostic medical devices, this includes establishing an appropriate regulatory strategy, generating the necessary clinical or performance evidence, implementing effective quality systems and preparing documentation that can support market access throughout the product lifecycle.

Our presence in Bangkok also strengthened ELLECOM’s connections within the Southeast Asian life sciences ecosystem and provided an opportunity to introduce our European and Swiss regulatory expertise to companies considering expansion into these markets.
