Connecting with the Medical Device Community in India

ELLECOM participated in Medical Fair India in New Delhi, one of India’s established trade exhibitions for the medical technology and healthcare industry.

Medical Fair India brings together medical device manufacturers, suppliers, healthcare professionals, technology providers and industry representatives, providing a platform for professional exchange, networking and the development of new business relationships.

For ELLECOM, the exhibition provided an important opportunity to connect directly with Indian medical device manufacturers and industry professionals and to exchange perspectives on regulatory requirements and international market access.

Our discussions focused particularly on the regulatory pathways manufacturers face when bringing medical devices and IVDs to international markets, including European and Swiss market access, EU MDR and IVDR requirements, Technical Documentation, Quality Management Systems, EU and Swiss Authorised Representation, and other international regulatory requirements.

Participation in Medical Fair India was particularly valuable because it enabled us to meet manufacturers personally, understand their products and discuss the regulatory challenges they encounter when preparing for or maintaining access to international markets.

We value these direct conversations with the people behind the products and organisations we support - exchanging knowledge, understanding their regulatory needs and building professional relationships that continue well beyond the exhibition itself.
